Me and Gambits

Many of you may have thought why people play gambits once I was also one of you. When I saw someone play the Danish Gambit I learnt its values [ the values of the Danish Gambit ]

That is a start at the Danish gambit.

Normally people are confused about why their opponents sacrifice of a pawn I was also one of you but there are 2 positives [ and variations ] with the Danish Gambit.

Variation 1 

This means you are a bit more developed than your opponent but also have got your queen out.

There itself are 2 reasons why gambits are played...….

1. Developing an important piece 

2. Developing your position more

Variation 2 

This positions has you 2 pawns down but still you are more developed.

Kings Gambit 

In this situation white after playing the kings gambit is way more developed. 

Countergambits

That is the Albin Countergambit [ black played it ] against the Danish Gambit. 

Another way to play against a gambit. 

In this pawn less countergambit you have developed more and have stopped white from castling properly.

You have also won the center.
