BIO

Viswanathan Anand the 15th chess champion and definitely the greatest Indian chess player of all time was born- December 11th 1969 in Mayadathurai, India Tamil Nadu. Anand played quickly in his early career played in the classical championship in 1995 and was FIDE world champion from 2000 - 2002.  Soon later in 2007 he reclaimed his title. He is also still playing chess when most people would have retired.

In the end Anand drew this game against Garry Kasporov.
