third year on cc and still here XD

Hey everyone, It has been a long time coming to reach this point, and I am happy to announce that it is my third year on Chess.com, which has been a great feeling as I keep on going.

But this feels bittersweet since some of my closest friends and OGs aren't here on CC anymore.

So I am going to honor them all by putting the usernames of the Fallen by just writing what I wish to write to them.

@BermudanPM - you are a legend (I appreciate you being humble, however). One thing that I can always appreciate is some Hamilton, preferably Burr in Wait For It, or being the narrator, which he happens to be overall.

@carlsen - one of the top admins that I have ever met in my own time being here, you have a good heart, and your influence has made CVC history, which is truly your own style. However, I wasn't able to get to know you for a long time, but I think that you deserve some recognition for your hard work and kindness.

@Broken-lonely-soul - If there was an award for being an Arcane fan and making edits very well, I would happily give it to you. I respect your choices to leave chess.com, and I wish nothing but happiness for you. If you ever come back, I will talk to you about Arcane for hours on end, and that is a promise lol.

@The-Solidus-Snack - well, this is going to be tough, but I am glad to be your friend. I am not sure if you are okay or not, but I am here for you. I hope that you come back; if you don't, I am glad to be your friend on here.

There were many others who had also fallen, but I only know them by name or what I was told in general.

I cannot list every one of them, but I hope that you pursue your goals and make the most out of your life.

That was very hard to write, but I am afraid it is the past, and we are in the present, but my respect still remains, and I only wish good things in their own future horizons.

My chess journey after the daily chess tournament from Chess.com was very interesting. XD

I was in fourth place in round one, and I am very happy that I played against great players overall.

And it happened that my biggest win in daily chess was against an 1800 player, and I won on time-out.

Well, it still counts as a win technically.

Let's move on into future plans.

What am I planning to do?

It is simple: I will get better at chess and keep doing my job like usual.

Here are the common questions that I often get asked.

How did you get certain roles like admin in TIF and other clubs with 5,300+ members in them?

My answer to that is this: I often invite some members when I am not busy, keeping club activity up and watching the notes and live chat for anything that goes against the rules and CC policies.

When inviting someone, should it be random or certain members?

for newer clubs, You should seek out active members who consent to receiving invites and want to join, but here is the thing: you shouldn't advertise in club notes or forums without permission or outside of a forum that is made strictly for the purpose of advertising, and also don't send a club link and beg the person to join. It might get reported, and the consequences of that aren't ideal for anyone in general.

For more established clubs with over 500 members, you could use more random invites, but here is my take on it: it will rarely work unless you are sure that the invites will work and the members do join the club, but overall stick with what I already said for the newer clubs.

Will you ever show your face?

No, I wish for my own privacy, and that is final.

That is all of the questions that were asked to me by multiple members.

I do wish to address something, however.

To those who have sent me very kind words and support over the past issues, you are truly one of my friends, and I wish to thank you all for such words.

To those who hate me, I get it; I'm not everyone's favorite cup of tea, but saying hurtful words and using language isn't right, and doing it online isn't the best thing to do. It is against the rules of CC to be using such words on a 14+ website where kids are present.

That is all from me; thanks for reading.

I am sure that was not the right thing to say, Shunsui-Kun XD

Hello, welcome to my blog. Thanks for dropping in, I am AkitoClaw but I am sure that you know that already so here are some things that are about me XD

>Number one simp for Shunsui and Jushiro (because why not)

>I love Shogi and I am one of the top players in Shogi

> I may be well-known here but it doesn't mean I am able to be around forever

Why do I make the blogs that I do?, I believe that others deserve the transparency that is needed from me to form meaningful connections but however I have my limits, A) I will never show my face to anyone (duh) B) I am a teacher and therefore busy with personal life sorry not sorry C) if you get blocked then please don't make it a big deal in club notes or anywhere else.

Thanks for reading this
