The Real Life Beth Harmon - Alexandra Botez?
This is the second blog in the series "The Real Life Beth Harmon" and in this blog we are going to see about Alexandra Botez and look at what she says on being called "The Real Life Beth Harmon".
Alexandra Botez (born September 24, 1995) is an American-Canadian chess player and Twitch streamer. She holds the title Woman FIDE Master (WFM) and runs a Youtube chess channel together with her younger sister, Andrea Botez.
In 2017, Botez co-founded CrowdAmp, a social media company that used machine learning to reach multiple followers in a personalized manner. She said in a May 2019 Twitch broadcast that the company had since ceased operations. She currently runs a twitch channel together with her sister Andrea Botez by the name BotezLive which has 433K followers as of November 2020. The channel features chess and variety content.
Botez uses the satirical expression "Botez Gambit" when she accidentally loses a queen.
Now we are going to see two video's both in which Anna Rudolf and Alexandra Botez will be playing together. They might be very good friends but everybody's an opponent on the chess board!

Here are the two videos -
If you have a look at the second video, you will notice that Anna Rudolf gains more victories against Miss Botez and Anna Rudolf also seems to be winning the game in the end.
So, it is not that clear if Alex really deserves the title.
Now, let's see what Alexandra Botez says on being called "The Real Life Beth Harmon"
