USCF Game 17(L): Whitaker-Kindred

Game 17 is round 5 of the Chicago Open and is memorable to me because my opponent was trying to go over variations of where I missed winning a piece, during the game! Needless to say I was confused because I didn’t see the variation anyway and ultimately end up losing a game I should have won in a blunderous endgame. Bad play by me once again. Tim Whitaker was rated 982 at the time with an all-time high of 1181.
