USCF Game 38(W): Polczyk-Kindred

Nov 14, 2012, 1:44 AM 0

This game remains one of my favorite games of all my USCF tournament games. Perhaps it had to do with my mind set going into the game. I stood 1-1-1 after 3 rounds and it was a miserable start in my opinion. If I lost in round 4 I was going to re-enter so I guess this game was played with out much pressure. I was listening to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack over and over while playing this game, which I looked into as deeply as any I ever played. It was a complex and intense game. My opponent was Stan Polczyk and his rating at the time was 1272 with a peak rating of 1764.
