A New Era for Chess- The Return of India

The Candidates tournament is upon us again. This year's candidates, held in Canada, will herald a new age in Chess. Gone is the former Russian Candidates dynasty, which ended in 2019, after Vladimir Kramnik's announcement of his retirement and the dynasty of chess players during the Carlsen era is coming to a close too. Super grandmasters, like Anish Giri, Levon Aronian, and Richard Rapport are gone from the Candidates Roster.
