Chapleau Chess Club

On a personal note, tonight I'm very proud to be getting our town's chess club up and running.  It's been over 3 years since I ran a children's club at a Senior's centre.  Now the Legion is hosting.

We meet on Thursdays 3:30-4:45pm.  Anyway, I know it's pretty far from anyone else's neck of the woods.  My daughters set-up the pieces so we are ready to go right after school.

A few adults also play.  In a few weeks I plan to have the adult club meet in the evenings after supper.

PPS - rumours of a 5-round CFC active rated Swiss on Oct. 7th are not greatly exaggerated.
