Here's an example of Fischer's Golden Rule in one of my games:
It's not so easy, eh? White wants to take the initiative on the queenside. But first we have to neutralize threats, by attacking or taking the piece in your half of the board!
Look, I can't really tell you till I run the analysis after the game, but I was eyeballing Qd1 for a long time, really just trying to peel my eyes away from the queenside.
