International Chess Day celebration in Kyiv!
Dear friends, my congratulations to you – today is our holiday!
Some of Team Ukraine players attended the event held in Taras Shevchenko Park – well-known place in Kyiv, where local amateurs like to play chess on a board.

Program of the event included:
- Simul by GM Vladimir Baklan @bakki78 (Trainer of National Team of Ukraine, Champion of Ukraine, bronze medalist of Chess Olympiad-2000 and winner of World Team Championship-2001).
Around 100 chess amateurs participated in simul, most of them were children
- Blitz tournament
Roaster for the tournament was full from yesterday, 60 players (among them at least a dozen of IMs and FMs) competed for prizes given by Kyiv Chess Federation and sponsors

3.Entertainments.
Tymchenko Mykola @tum_nik and Olexander Shtymak @shtymak1994 also decided to play in simul with grandmaster.
