Kazakhstan Chess Cup 2023. Round 2

The second day of the Kazakhstan Chess Cup 2023 has passed. Yesterday, I played with White pieces against the chess player from Kazakhstan, IM Zhalmakhanov Ramazan (ELO 2425). My opponent did not give me any chance. It seemed to me that I played the opening well, but unnoticed by me, the position gradually deteriorated. At some point, I simply felt myself in zugzwang.

Unfortunately, this was one of those games where I did not show any fight or resistance. I have to make a deeper analysis of this game.

Today, we play at 3 pm local time (11 am CEST). My opponent will be the chess player from Kazakhstan, Mukhambet, Shakarim (ELO 1298). Wish me luck, please! 😊
