SERBIA CHESS OPEN 2021. Day 4. Quick Draw.
Hi everyone!
It is 11PM and I'm writing this blog tonight to tell you a few words about my day.
For some reason I started it quite early. I woke up at 5AM and understood that I can't sleep anymore. But I like to start my days early, especially when I am not at home, but at some nice place like Belgrade My plan for today was to do some shopping and maybe to explore a little bit the area on the left bank of the Sava river in the first half of the day. In the end I had time only for shopping
Back at the hotel, I wrote a blog about my third day in Belgrade (By the way, thank you very much to everyone who reads my posts! I read all your comments!) and prepared a little bit for the game. I was playing with White pieces, so I knew that it was going to be the English Opening anyway :-)))
The game turned out not very exciting (I even couldn't provide any comments). The only thing I can tell is that I overestimated my position... I thought that I was better with some chances for a win. However, the engine disagreed with me. I am happy with a draw anyway. In Swiss tournaments like this one, it is very important not to LOSE!
