Hi everyone!

First of all I'd like to say thank you to everyone who is reading / commenting / and rooting for me I appreciate a lot your support!!!

The tournament is over, but I still decided to write a separate post about my Day 6 (Round 8) in Belgrade. Yesterday we played at 5PM and again I had a lot of time in the first part of the day. My plan was to see the Church of Saint Sava - the largest Orthodox Church in the Balkan region and the second largest in the world. It was one of the top recommended places to see here and since it is located not very far from my hotel I decided to have a look at it.

The rest of my free time I spent in now my favourite place in Belgrade - Knez Mihailova Street enjoying ice coffee and dessert at Via Del Gusto restaurant.

Now going back to chess, yesterday my opponent was a player from Turkey Ozsac Samet Harun (ELO 1766).

As I mentioned in the comments to the game, I didn't have chances for a win at all and the only thing I did was to defend my bad pawns. In any case I thought that a draw is not that bad result after all.

Since it was still early, I decided to walk a little bit after the game and I went to another place which is also one of the top places to visit in Begrade - Skadarlija. According to the TheCrazyTourist "Skadarlija has been a bohemian haunt since the 1800s and is Belgrade's answer to Montmartre". This place is really exciting with a lot of people dining, listening to local musicians and having fun Some photos are below!

Thank you very much to everyone for reading. See you in my next blog post!
