Stockfish Strikes Again

Stockfish is the best chess bot to be ever made ever since 2004, beating Torch and Leela. According to Wikipedia, "Stockfish is unsalted fish, especially cod, dried by cold air and wind on wooden racks (which are called "hjell" in Norway) on the foreshore." But sometimes it really doesn't make sense in these game reviews. Taking a pawn is better than taking a rook? Please elaborate.
