Vienna gambit excellent traps and tricks
Hello everybody!
Today, I decided to share the vienna gambit's excellent moves.
Vienna Gambit:
This opening starts with 1. e4 e5 2. nc3 nf6 3f4, where white attacks the e5 pawn.
The gambit is also known as the closed eye gambit. This name is because that machines say vienna gambit isn't a good gambit and just say nonsense in every position, while evaluation bar shows crazy and stupid things.
Black can do 3 thing:
3. exf4 accepts the gambit and black's position or maybe material is gonna be crushed.
After this, white should play e5, making black's position completely passive as the knight has to retreat. Here is the line shown below:
Here, after black plays ng8, the we play d4, gaining a lot of space in the center and attacking the f4 pawn. Black wishes they could take their move back! Here is the complete line:
Some people after e5, play qe7. This is a BIG mistake while the opening turns into Vienna revolution.
With qe7, people try to pin the pawn and don't get passive, but this makes their position much worse. If white plays qe2, then Vienna revolution lights the way for the free advantage. Look at the line, then we will continue it together.
After this, when we play nd5, we even turn black's position more passive and centralize a knight and after black's retreating, d4 gains a big advantage in central space and is gaining the pawn back.
Lines are shown below:
