Conditions for castling

1. Unmoved Pieces:  Both the king and the rook involved in the castling move must not have moved previously in the game. If either piece has moved, castling is no longer permitted with that piece.

2. No Pieces Between:  There must be no pieces between the king and the rook.No piece between rook and king3. King Not in Check:  The king cannot be in check at the time of castling. 1. Kingside Castling:  The king moves two squares toward the rook on its right (the kingside rook), and the rook moves to the square immediately next to the king on the left. This is often notated as "O-O"
