Weekly Tournament Blog #24

Welcome back to the tourney blog!! Today I'll be showing you my 3 games in a tournament. For game #1, I was taking on a girl 10 rating points higher than me. I sat down and began playing as black. I messed up on the notation, so I'll explain. My opponent played a 4 knights game, and she blundered a bishop. I was up for quite a while, and she blundered her rook. I promoted and checkmated on the back rank, but she also came close to promoting. I calculated 2 variations and found out I could win both by pushing and promoting. 

I played my second game, and I messed up the notation again. But I blundered a whole bunch, and I decided to just resign the game.

My third game went by fast, but I can only summarize it. My opponent blundered a bishop, rook, and his queen. I took all of that, and he attempted to hang on. But I mated him in the corner.
