Testing, testing.

Finished working through my checkmates book yesterday, and sat down to do the practice problems at the back.   I solved 18 out of the 36 correctly,  and found an alternate forced mate on a 19th.   On a lot of the others I had the correct first and second moves of the combinations, but miscalculated after that.

All in all I am pretty pleased with this, given that I only went over each pattern once, and that pretty casually.   I'll move on to my Capablanca now, then The Amateurs Mind,  and then back to my checkmates book.    Maybe with some of my Idiots Guide in the mix as well,  since I just found it recently.

I want to work through each of my books two or three times before I get add anything else to the library.
