In the beginning

Hello to all,

I do not really know anything about Chess.  But am going to hammer away with the videos and what not.  In the mean time if some one could let me know how the location or positions are known by these i would appreciate it.  Will be with the "Learn" section for quite a while       Kd4 Kf6
