New Opening Against The Scotch
Hey y'all, Merry Christmas. This is my first blog, so I am a little unexperienced. But, I am here to share with you a new opening (yes, I invented it, and it's a little bad, but I will share with you the benefits of it)
So as you probably know, the Scotch Game goes e4, e5, Nf3, Nc6, d4
Now, this isn't normal, but when I had no theory, I traded everything on d4
Then, I played b6, which allows one bishop to develop in fianchetto, while letting the other undeveloped bishop move to c5, attacking the queen
Yes, it is very short, but that's basically it. I have won a lot of games with this opening (probably just because my opponents blundered lol). I call this the Scotch Game: Krish Variation because I first thought of this in a USCF tournament game against Krish Karthik. This might already be an opening (I'm not sure) but I'd like to hear your opinion on it (especially titled players) and I'm ready for the criticism! (jk jk lol)
PS; If you actually try it out and play it, please post your games including this opening here!
So that's it! My very first blog! But, happy holidays, and I hope you enjoyed!
