Roadmap for Chess Beginners #2 - Names of Chess Pieces and How to Set Them on The Board

I will mention the names of the pieces, and also, put them on their starting squares.
Each player controls 8 pawns
Each player controls two rooks
Each player controls two knights
Each player controls two bishops {1 light square bishop, 1 dark square bishop}
Each player controls one king and must protect it the best they can
Each player controls one queen (The black queen always goes on the dark square right next to the king) [The white queen always goes on the light square right next to the king

Below is how all the pieces are properly set up on the board. Notice a light square in the bottom right corner when viewing the board from the white perspective. This same rule applies to the player playing the black pieces who views the board from a different angle or perspective. You are setting up the pieces on the correct side of the board if there is a light square in the bottom right corner no matter what color of the pieces you choose.
