OK, so I think you know what openings are, it is how you start the game. A good opening can help and even cause you to win. Here I am going to show some openings that are interesting and helpful.

As you can see here this won a pawn and gave White control of the center and that is in many games a vital role in winning. Also the discovery attack on the Night From the queen was a smart play and if you think about it for a bit you can see many other ways this can help you.

Now this I am guessing is the start of most of your games. The trades put you even but if you can see white just took control of the center and the center of the Board is very important.

Now here black just hurts them self I mean sneaking in with a queen is threatening to black and black will want to get it away so they will attack it as much as they can and so white can take advantage of this recklessness and use it to their benefit. But if you are white and are in this position do not look for too many ways to do this because if you move fast you can not notice a blunder or mistake.
