What I don't understand about chess (#117)
I lost against the Impossible Computer today. I could have played a line to reach the following as Black:
It looks bad for Black. White's rooks are connected; I am going to have a little difficulty in extricating my light-squared Bishop; my Queen is on the same half-opened file as a White rook; White's two Bishops are raking into my position along open diagonals; and yet... and yet...
...Stockfish rates this +1.1 for Black.
I could play through some variations with Stockfish - yet I would like to understand what I don't understand. What makes this position good for Black?
