Ponziani Opening | The Chess Blog #2
Welcome to my series of chess blogs, this will be the second one in the series. What I am talking all about is the Ponziani Opening, a beginner's opening. It goes by e4, e5, Nf3, Nc6, c3! There are variations like the Jaenish Counterattack, which is Nf6 for black, or the Ponziani Countergambit, which is f6 for black. After that, I usually do d4 on both, or Bc4 for the Jaenish Counterattack, making it the Neumann Gambit. Black should do Bc5, making it the Guicco Piano Game, Main Line with Nf6. Finally, white should do d3, which is a prep move for Bg5. After that, play on the game!
