Hi guys! Welcome to my blog! In this blog, I will cover how to pawn storm. So, let's go!
Pawn storm is when you push/storm your pawns towards the enemy castled king to attack their guarding pawns who are guarding their king, chip away them, and attack the open king with our other pieces and pawns and try to checkmate, or win material. Here is an example:

I will make another blog of it where in this game Nakamura sacrifices material to win. But in this blog, I will take about pawn storming. This is the King's Indian Defense, Orthodox Variation. On move 9.Ne8, the idea for black in these variations is to push pawns with the f-pawn to f4-f5, and storm the f, g and h pawns. White on the other hand does queenside pawn storm to chip away black's pawns on the queenside and chip away to create some passed pawns and infiltration with a, b and c pawns. This is "same side" castling pawn storm. There is also other pawn storm where one king castled on the queenside and the other king castled kingside, and they push pawns to their opponent's king respectively. It is "opposite side" castling pawn storm. These are not the names/terms though. You should castle other side of your opponent's king and then try to pawn storm in which your king won't be exposed with weaknesses all around from the overextension of the pawns.

That's it for my blog! Bye!
