My First OTB Tournament Result/Points/Prizes. #otb #tournament
Hello everyone!
I'm very good here, hope y'all are also fine. So this is my 2nd BLOG, this Blog will be about my OTB Tournament that I played in my city ( Gwalior ). There was more than 240 participants in that OTB tournament, it was very fun and had a great experience in playing it. There was around 25+ Rated boys in this tournament and 20+ Girls who were rated. The tournament was in a BIG school, they organized 5 Rounds on 1st Day and 3 Rounds on 2nd Day.
On the 1st Day, I played very well and scored 3.5/5 I was very much satisfied with my score and everyone appreciated me. And on the 2nd Day, I don't know happened but I was sleepy, bored and tired on the 2nd Day, and hence I didn't perform well I got 0.5/3 on the 2nd Day. Actually On the last round I was winning but 1 Blunder leads to lossing position and that's what happened to me in the last round and I lost it. Lol another funny thing, I didn't resigned in any game even if I was in a losing position because in OTB there are little bit much chance of Blunders, Mistakes etc. and we can win the game easily if our Opponent will do any of these things. And yeah on the 3rd Round I was in a losing position I was about to Resign but my opponent became greedy and they took my pawn and they forgot if they take it then it will be a checkmate and I won lol.

All those ratings written in the Rounds are the PERFORMANCE RATINGS and if my opponent has a FIDE Rating then I mentioned it there too.

The Final Results Are:-
3 Wins, 3 Losses, 2 Draws.
I was very much disappointed with my score in those last 3 rounds, if I take much time to think then I could win all of them or draw. But what we can do, nothing also it's just a game there are some losses and some wins.
