energy source
once upon a time, there was a blade of grass. it was very cool, and did grass things like photosynthesis. However, the hand of evil reached out, and crushed it under two vice like grips. A cow had eaten this blade of grass.
"Moo," said the cow, unaware of the heinous crime it had committed upon the innocent. But no one thinks to persecute cows, since no one thinks of grass as a real living being, another issue of the hypocrisy of humans.
Anyways, once upon a time, there was a cow. it was very cool, and did cow things like k̶i̶l̶l̶i̶n̶g̶ l̶i̶v̶e̶s̶ I mean, eating grass. However, the hand of evil reached out, and severed its head in a clean chop. The cow was butchered for its meat.
"Nice," said the Butcher (or at least I assume so because I have no desire to know what goes on at this moment). Now, this cow is ready for consumption by humans after some cooking. Through this, humans who consume this item will gain energy points, thus enabling them to operate for longer periods of time.
However, there is one crucial inefficiency here: at each stage in the food chain, 90% of energy is lost due to heat and other operations. As with middlemen in trade, this makes it more expensive for those at the top of the food chain to gain as much energy.
Thus, I propose that we eliminate the middlemen from the equation. Join me, my friends, as we invade the green pastures and munch on grass all day long. For this way we will have created a true utopia, and solved world hunger. Bless you all
