Bobby Fischer's Best Game Ever

You may be surprised to learn that what is arguably Bobby Fischer's best game was played when he was just 13 years old. This game is nicknamed "The Game of The Century," and is considered by some to be the greatest chess game ever played.

Fischer's opponent was Donald Byrne, a winner of the US Chess Championship. Despite this, he is most well known for losing this game. I feel bad for him, because if a very strong player loses in a great game now, they probably would not be remembered for just that.

White: Byrne

Black: Fischer

It seems like Fischer must have calculated like 30 moves in that game, as a 13 year old! I would guess that all of you guys have already seen this game, but you can't see it too many times! If you enjoyed this post, click follow in the top right.
