I Played A Perfect Game Of Chess, As A 1400
I recently played a rapid game, won in 17 moves, and put it under chess.com analysis. It said that on all 17 moves, I played the best moves, except for one misclick. Before you start looking to see if I'm a titled player, I'm not! I'm rated just over 1400 in real life, and I'm far worse in chess.com chess.
I don't know what the odds of this are, but I do know that this was probably the best I've ever played a chess game in my life. My opponent made several mistakes, but on every single move, I played the best move!
I promise I was not using an engine, I just got really really lucky.
This is something I might never do again, so I decided to blog about it. I do also want to mention that I played terribly in a tournament yesterday.
I was like the 5th highest rated and got a 2/5 score. That was the worst tournament I've had in several years, and with terrible luck, the first game of the next day is perfect, and not a tournament game.
Thank you for reading about my game. If you would like to see more chess content, click follow in the top right. See you in my next post, and as always, have a wonderful day.
Goodbye!
