Why You Should Never Give Up In A Chess Game
We all remember when we first started playing chess and when we lost our queen, we wouldn't react. It was just one fewer piece, you could still win. Remember thinking like that? I think that players today get so scared if they blunder, that they're not willing to try anything risky for the rest of the game. When your losing though, the only way to win is to be risky. These two games are an example of players playing with their inner 5-year old, and not giving up.
If you get skewered, don't take the bishop right away. Look around first. This next game was an even better comeback, even though you guys don't need to see the full game. This is just the ending.
I know, it's green. Comment below if you guys like the green better. I repeat: COMMENT IF YOU LIKE GREEN BETTER. Anyways, does it look like white will win? Even if it's Magnus? No, black is easily winning. Watch this comeback and the greatness of Magnus Carlsen.
No resignation happened. In so few moves, how did that happen?
Anyways, before I end this blog, I want to apologize for not blogging for some time. I was visiting family in the other side of the US, and wasn't on chess.com during that time. To make up for not posting those two weeks I was gone, I will try to make three blogs per week until August. If I fail, I will post my first ever game that I recorded. It was really, really, bad.
Anyways, here's a dog playing chess. (Credit: wallpaperscraft.com.)
That was a random dog, here is my dog.
I took that photo so there is no credit.
