This Is What Happen If The King Is Strong
King must be strong because it was the KING. But unfortunately, not in chess. I bet you all know why the king is made to be weak in chess. Of course, if the king is strong, for example, it can move like the queen, it will be "impossible" to deliver checkmate. Well not totally impossible, It's just like you try to trap a queen. But let me ask you, how many times do you trap your opponent's king? It's really rare that you trap a queen right? So it's like how do you checkmate a strong king, now what about if the king has the "Dream" power? The "Dream power" I mean is Queen + Knight move. It will be almost impossible to checkmate the king.
Other than being harder to deliver checkmate, if the king is strong, it will also be strong at the attack. The king will be the one who attack and capture pieces, because I will be easy to retreat too as a strong king. You know, like the queen.
If you are thinking that your opponent have a strong king, but you also have a strong king, so it's just the same like in the normal chess game. Nope, you are totally wrong, but why? Imagine you almost checkmate your opponent (in the regular chess with weak king), and the king can't escape the attack easily because they can only move one step, meaning the king is weak. But if the king can move from corner to corner in one move like the bishop, rook, or queen. It's very easy to escape an attack for the king.
So that is why the king was invented to be weak. BUT... In the future maybe there will be some changes in chess, we never know... But right now the current king is best, thanks for reading!
