I've won, but at what cost?

Today, and the past few days, I have been looking at the analysis of my past games. And it is cringe. Even without the stockfish recommendations, I can tell I am making mistakes left and right. I keep missing pins and easy takes. In today's game, I even missed a mate in one. Yes, I win, but I win because I make dumb moves and my opponent makes even dumber moves in retaliation!

I have been calling it "tunnel vision," which is the opposite of the "board vision" that my friends have been telling me about. I focus on one task on one area of the board so much that I miss everything else. I really need to practice taking a second to breathe and focusing on the board as a whole. That should be number one priority instead of learning all sorts of new openings.
