There are hardly any more embarrassing ways of getting checkmated by Fools Mate. It could happen to the best of people, and it could happen to the worst of people. It is the quickest form of checkmate possible, as it takes two moves.

The Scholar's Mate is a perfect way to start off your chess journey. It is great for 100- 800 elo chess players. Any further than that, the opponent might recognize this gambit. The Scholars Mate is the second quickest checkmate. It takes four moves. It is a bit more complicated than the Fool's Mate, because you need to use your queen and your bishop to deliver mate. It is harder to stop, but once you understand the principle of the Scholar's Mate, you can play it yourself and watch your opponents struggle to keep up with you.
