Bye! Cya!
Hi everyone, this will be my last blog post. As many of you might know, I will be closing my account today after I finish this post and clean up some club duties. Firstly, I would like to say that I personally do not want to leave either; however, circumstances do not allow. Also, to answer the many people's same question, "Will you come back?" the answer is no, under normal and the greater majority of circumstances, I will not be able to come back. Additionally, I want to say, this decision is not because of anything regarding the social side, it was absolutely marvelous and in fact it held me back when I tried to close earlier. However, this is, after all, a chess site; I simply cannot spend time on something that I'm hopeless in. This was also not fully my decision, although I won't go into the details here.
Here I would like to thank all my friends who helped me a lot along my nearly 5 month journey on chess.com (note that this list is not in particular order; also if I forgot you, sorry I'm in a haste writing this, but do know I will always remember you if we talked a lot and were great friends):
First, I would like to thank a few people who helped me the most among all my friends, or changed my perspective of many things. I cannot express my gratitude through mere words (even tho it's exactly what I'm trying to do rn lol) to these friends who supported me, encouraged me, and was there whenever I need them. I'll keep this list short, so don't be sad if you're not in here.
@ChessGods1278: I must thank you from the bottom of my heart, you're is the one who helped me into the social side, where I went on to discover and enjoy so much. Without you, I would not meet any of the other people on this list. It was also in your club, The GM's club that I learned to be a good admin, and how to run clubs. As clubs has been a integral part of my chess.com social life, I should thank you for bringing to me all those possibilities.
@jackityjackjack: Thanks for your company, I enjoyed talking to you, debating in TCDD, and I greatly appreciate your help in clubs and chess. Thanks for being there for me when I need it the most!
@Fabiano_Caruana2014: Thank you Fabi, you're truly the definition of great friend, helping me when I'm most in need, supporting me in whatever my goals are, and helping me run my club. I also greatly enjoyed your club, it was a great time!
@Michael-148: You're so supportive of my goals, no matter how impossible or hard, and you're also the one of only a few to continue encouraging me, no matter how bad of an attitude I have (lol fr I admit now). Also thank you soo much for helping me grow and run my club, without you, I would never reach the level of success I have now. You're an amazing person, what else can I say? Thanks for being one of my best friends!!
@TitanMaster101: You're a great friend, fun to talk to, and we're very similar. It was a great time chatting with you, talking about all sorts of stuff lol. You're certainly better at chess than I am, I believe you can certainly become titled one day! Now that I'm leaving, I can say for sure (without you denying) you're smarter than me lol.
@TurtleAlex: Bro I had so much fun talking to you, listen to you yap about all kinds of stuff and then me yapping back, I'm sure we both learned a lot in the process! And, well you gonna hate me for saying this, but you are in any condition 10x smarter than me, in fact you're THE SINGLE SMARTEST PERSON I've ever met, also smart in every way possible, from chess and language to history and debate. Since I'm leaving, you won't be able to deny it lol. Anyways, it was a really fun time talking to you, learning about wacky stuff from you, and the occasional chess lesson which benefit me so much. Thanks for being there for me! You're truly a really great friend.
@Dystopia_Chess: One of my best friends, he entrusted me to his (sadly now disabled) club, supported me along the way, helped me with chess, and so much more. I like your companion, thank you a lot! You're definitely talented in chess, more than me, I'm sure you can be a super strong player with a bit of hard work! Good luck!
@Diamonds_and_netherite: We been through the tough time together, and you were always there for me. Thank you for those days, I enjoy our conversations and random chatting, you're a great friend. Don't be sad I'm leaving, life has it's ups and downs, this is just one of 'em.
@JTBlll: Another one of my friends who supported me for everything, you're a really great friend! When I'm down and need some encouragement, you're always the first to help! I also greatly appreciate your help in TCDD, you absolutely deserve SA. Thank you for al those things, I appreciate it a ton!
@KDK_FanRepairs1009: One of my first friends on chess.com, we are in all ways similar. You're supportive of my goals, and I had a pleasant time anime chatting with you! Hope you best luck in college and chess!
@Just_Hoping525: Ever since we met in the Improvers, you were so supportive for my goals, and you helped me improve! Although I'm not closing bc of rage quit as you thought, your encouragement and persuasion helped me get through countless tilts and obstacles! Thank you for the help!

@Ahmed-Ayeldeen2007: Great friend, even though we once had a misunderstanding, we got along later. He have an excellent club, the Pirates of the Caribbean club. He is also a really great club owner, always fair and precise.
@AgentCekkoSpace: I really enjoy your presence, when you always say "Ciao everyone" and when you always remember me when you create a new 30 sec arena, great time knowing you! You're a really great friend!
@Allthecap: Cool kid, you're fun to talk with, and your club is growing! (sorry I was never able to contribute much).
@Bgabor91: Only titled player in my list, also one of only two titled friend I have. I greatly enjoy your tutorials, videos, and explanations. You're also a very nice friend!
@ChessGT17: Although we fought often, he is a great guy, kinda funny and chill, and he helped me during my goal.
@Agent_Galen: Very nice friend, we met in the 30 sec tournaments, we're both in college and working towards similar goals, and he's funny to talk to in game chat frfr lol. You are and will definitely be better at chess than I am, continue pushing for your goals! Wish you good luck!

I would also like to thank all staff and mods, for running chess.com and keeping the place a friendly site free of trolls and disruption. Thank you, and also chess.com as a whole, for providing me with this wonderful expereince!

@Kickinninja219: You were once a really great friend, yet for some reason I still cannot figure out, you hated me and tried to fight me. It's a little sad, but just know, you were a great friend!

Although sadly I don't have time to make a compreensive list of clubs that matter a lot to me, I'll list a few:
TCDD, The club that needs a name, alpin3_11's Elevation Club, POCC - Pirates Of Caribbean Chess, Chess Champions United, 𝕂𝕟𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕎𝕒𝕣, The GM's club, Common Sense Of Chess, Road to Titled Player, Soon to be GM, Promote to Knight, Clouds Of Chess, Ajedrez para Todos comunidad americana, The Remembrance Project, Triple king, CVC, and Improvers all provided me with a great experience. Join some of them if you're interested!
I would like to address some common questions here:
- "Would you come back?" the answer is sadly, no, under normal circumstances, I would not be able to come back.
- "Can you just go permanently offline instead of closing?": Answer again is no, bc my parents will ensure it gets closed.
- "What will happen to your clubs?": I have taken care of most, and those that I have not yet, I will do so in the next few days on my alt.
- "Will you create an alt?": I will be on my alt @BattleChessFighter007 in the next 2 days, until Sunday night, when I might be forced to close that account as well. I may be able to just go offline in that one, idrk yet.
- "How can we contact you?": In the next 2 days, just dm or send a chat to the fighter account. After Sunday night, no most of you will not be able to contact me since I do not have any social media. My best friends will be able to email me, although not everyone can.
- "Will you miss us?": yes, absolutely lol.
