A message to all the techies here

A friend of mine were just discussing this yesterday. I'm old enough to remember when this all started. At the time the World Championship was a talented, whiney, jerk, who challenged the tech world to construct a computer that could beat him, they did, he cried about it, they laughed, and are still laughing.

We're very sorry that at least half our world champions have been delusional, arrogant, jerks. But surely at this point you can let it go.

We're both nerdy geeks that the rest of the world thinks is silly, I call for a truce.

Go back to doing whatever it was you did before becoming obsessed with pretending to be a good chess player, and we promise the next time we have a world champion who can't shut up, we'll tell him to shut his pie hole.
