Much has been said about Carlsen´s style and many people say he plays slow, positional, even boring games. He has been compared with Capablanca and Karpov for his ability to outplay his opponents in even looking positions. Well, Karpov was certainly a positional player, a master exploiting minimal advantages in long endgames. Very similar to Magnus actually. But of course, they both are able to play tactical attacking games. In this game against Hort, Karpov faces his favourite Caro Kan and performs a splendid attack against black king, almost making it look easy. Hope you like it.
