Hey everyone!
The Big Ten Universities are beginning the BTCL, a League intended to promote chess at the intercollegiate level the way it never was before!  We will be competing once or twice a month on Saturdays in G/120 games and intend to meet and have a rated tournament as well at some point during the year.  Games will be played online through the use of our partner chess.com.  Competing schools include: U of Minnesota TC, U of Illinois CU, U of Michigan Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Michigan State, Northwestern, Penn State, Purdue, Ohio State, and U of Wisconsin Oshkosh and Madison.  We are really excited about beginning this competition and working in collaboration with chess.com and hope to have a great year!  Some of our top competitors include FM Eric Rosen, FM Atulya Shetty, and GM Mauricio Flores.  We hope that you will tune in and watch some of the games!
Thanks!
