I was approached by a stranger on my Discord server.
On the night of March 25th, I was approached by a stranger on my Discord server. He offered to give away his MacBook for free. Now, anyone with some sort of life experience will easily tell you that this is probably a scam. However, I have always been a fan of Apple products, so this idea did not hit my head. He then told me to wire him the shipping fee, which I did.
It was at this point where things took a turn, he then told me there have been some problems with the shipping and I had to pay more money. Around here, I realized I was scammed but it was already too late. As I asked for a refund, he then blocked me. Oof.
So why am I telling you this?
Although I didn't lose much money, but this incident reminded of an important life tip:
"Don't be Greedy"
Had I not been greedy, I wouldn't be scammed...
