We will be talking about the unique "en passant" rule.  En passant means "in passing". 

Some say that you need to be loyal and choose en passant over checkmate in 1. Some guy actually did that! But that is for the memes. Imagine getting a en passant checkmate. En passant is when the opponent pawn moves two squares and is next to your pawn, then you go to the square above the one the opponent pawn moved to.
