The Queens Gambit is a hit TV show in chess that is falls in the category Historical Drama, and it seems many people enjoyed the show. But today I am going to show the Queens Gambit, not the show but the opening! 

Lets start!  

There are Two types of ways you can play this opening.

(QGD) Queens Gambit Declined 

(QGA)- Queen Gambit Accepted 

The Queens Gambit Declined can look like this

Black does not take the C pawn in the QGD and Instead avoids the pawn plays a other random move.

Queens Gambit Accepted can look like this 

Blac does take the C pawn in this case 


QGD-

The Queens Gambit Declined has many Variations, but I am going to show you some variations that you might have/have not seen.


Another variation does not need the exchange on d5 but instead white plays Nf3 and black plays Nf6

Black has to be Very careful because if Black plays b5, because its a obvious move to defend the pawn you can play Qf3 like this
