Unorthodox Openings: Bad Owen Gambits
I have read a book by Eric Schiller called Unorthodox Chess Openings. It has over a thousand unorthodox openings. In it, I found the Owen Defense, not listing it necessarily as unorthodox, though it did say it is "has virtually disappeared from serious tournaments though there are efforst by some die-hard fans to bring it back to life." It shows two gambits that I will briefly cover but not show all since this is a book that I bought.
The Naselwaus Gambit
The Matovinsky Gambit
Hope you enjoyed. I don't think I have to tell you not to play these. I do reccomend the book Unorthodox Chess Openings since you are surely to come upon an unorthodox openings in your chess career and this does a great job covering them.
