Topic of the Day-11/22/11-Chess.com Memberships

Well, I am still trying to keep up with my blogs that I forgot to do, so be patient, I will get to every day. Well, today's topic (rather 11/22/11) is about the memberships on Chess.com. Well, you can purchase memberships under the "Members" tab, and it should be at the bottom with a star next to it. Also, you can also purchase memberships by pressing the button at the top-right corner of the screen, next to your name and the search box, and it should say "Discover the Benefits" or something else.

Well, there are 4 memberships total. There is the

  1. Basic Membership
  2. Gold Membership
  3. Platinum Membership
  4. Diamond Membership

The Basic Membership puts nothing next to your name and it is free. You do not have all the features on Chess.com, but it is the cheapest membership. I have a basic membership, but I have been looking forward to buying a Platinum Membership. A Gold Membership is the 2nd cheapest membership and it puts a gold star next to your name. A Gold Membership is $5 dollars a month, unless you pay it yearly. You do not get all of the features on Chess.com, but you get more features than the Basic Membership. A Platinum Membership puts a crown next to your name and I think it is $7 a month, unless you pay yearly. A Platinum Membership I recommend because you don't have too little features, but you don't have too many features that you are wasting your money on. I am not saying the Platinum Membership is the best membership, the Diamond Membership is good, that is just my opinion and my recommendation. And last but not least, the Diamond Membership. The Diamond Membership you get unlimited features on Chess.com and I think that membership is around $14 a month, I am not sure, unless you pay yearly.

If you are buying a membership, I'd recommend the Platinum membership and to pay any membership you are buying yearly because it is cheaper and you have a whole year to get money to buy it for the next year. Well, I think that is all for today, so if you have any comments, please comment at the bottom of this blog post and if you have any suggestions, please drop me a note on my profile or send me a message.
