10 tips to get better at chess
1. Play lots of games
Repetition is very important, and you will not get better without playing more games.
2. Analyze your games
After you finish, analyze your game to see what you or your opponent did wrong. On chess.com, you an even retry your mistakes.
3. Check your moves
Make sure your moves are good ones, even if they look good.
4. Study endgames, and do puzzles
Sometimes, games don't get to the endgame, but when they do, you need to be prepared. One move can lose the game for you, even thought it might not look like it.
5. Focus on the game.
Don't worry if your opponent rating is higher. Focus on the game, do your best, and you still might win, no matter how good your opponent is.
6. Create a plan
A bad plan is better than no plan. Try to come up with a plan before the game, not during the game.
7. Don't be afraid to be aggressive
Don't be passive and try to stay in your comfort zone. Take risks if you know you will be rewarded afterwards.

8. Use all your pieces
Your pieces are there for a reason. If you see a badly placed piece, try to make it a better piece by moving it somewhere else.
9. Be patient
If you lose a game, try not to worry about it and move on. Chess takes a long time to master.
10. NEVER GIVE UP!
Try not to resign in a losing position. You might be missing a chance to draw, and there is always a chance your opponent will blunder.
