My Biggest Swindle in a Federation Tournament

Hello everyone,

On Sunday 18th of April, I played in the second tournament of the English Chess Federation Grand Prix Event.

In the very first round, I faced a 2186 Lichess rated player (I cannot find his ECF rating as his name is not in his profile)

I had a poor position throughout the whole game BUT, something really shocking happened at the end... Let's get to the game.

As you can see, my opponent blundered the mate when he was absolutely winning. Even though he had a better position most of the game, CAPS were 73 for me and 73.4 for him.
Honestly, this may also be my biggest swindle ever.
I finished the tournament 50th with a score of 3 wins and 3 losses.
This is pretty much it for my first game based blog. I hope you enjoyed it, if you did, don't forget to like and subscri- wait no, it's a YouTube outro... Yeah, if you enjoyed it, please feedback and tell me your opinions about the game and blog, and if you liked the blog image tongue.png
