As you saw in the blog a few days ago, (if you have not seen it click here to see it https://www.chess.com/blog/BrosChess131109/the-achievement-killer-pawn)

I showed you some of the moves to perform to achieve the Checkmate with the Pawn, however, the knight is in my opinion the piece with which you can make the most beautiful and artistic Checkmates, but like any work of art, has its level of complexity, and today I will teach you some tips and tactics to make the Checkmate with the Knight, and win the achievement of "Killer Knight" Come on ....

The first thing to keep in mind, is that it is much easier to checkmate at the beginning of the game, than at the end, mostly because at the end you probably don't have your knights anymore, that's why it's easier to do it at the beginning.

Now, on YouTube you can find many videos about traps with the knight, to checkmate, which include: Sacrifices, Pinning, etc. a very nice Checkmate is the following one.

That's the combination of queen sacrifice and mate that made White win, now, not everyone may be as lucky as White, but that's what the traps are for.

But before I go, I want to give you the example of how I won this award, enjoy it!

As you can see, although I had a fairly large disadvantage, I managed to win by Checkmate Knight, one of the key factors is that the King of my opponent was quite limited, thanks to the Bishop of white squares that covered all its squares of exit, and only came the knight, to finish off the position.

So you know, you must immobilize the king first before checkmate.

I hope you liked this Blog; do not forget to comment your doubts and suggestions, you can even comment your own games, where you have given Checkmate, with the Knight.

And without further ado, I bid you farewell. Goodbye!
