When reading a chess book I find it so much easier to study the game on-line rather than on a physical board. Also, I sometimes wish to see how the position was arrived at.
In 2017 GM Andrew Soltis published a wonderful book 365 Chess Master Lessons in which he annotates 720 short, master level games with questions and answers to instruct the reader.
