First, intentional, use of a strategy and sacrifices

Aug 19, 2011, 10:33 PM 5

After studying a game from a book I have I decided to attempt the strategy of advancing my King-side pawn.

I decided that if I could get castled on the Queen's side, and my opponent castled on the King-side I would attempt to push my pawn up the King-side in order to eleminate his King's pawn defense. I also figured that I would have to sacrifice at least a Bishop during the the match.  It turns out I had a couple of "un-intentional" sacrifice as well.

Here is my game.

Here is the game I studied.
