Five Of My Best Bullet Games
That's right, I'm doing a blog on bullet chess. Sorry haters, bullet is real chess.
Today I am going to discuss the ideas that bullet isn't "real" chess and some of my best games! I hope y'all enjoy it!
Is Bullet real chess?
As someone who loves playing bullet, I have been told that bullet is not real chess. But why?
Well, I don't know why. Some think it's too fast, it's more luck than brains, it's too fast to think, it's not for slow people.
All those are good reasons. Here's what I'm going to say:
Bullet chess is real. If it wasn't, chess.com wouldn't have it.
And if that's not enough, you should talk to this guy!
Maybe you should also ask GM @DanielNaroditsky who is number one in bullet!
My point is, some of us, can think fast and play fast, we may play badly, but we still enjoy it!
Some of the best-titled chess players use bullet games to speed up their reaction time, it's just smart. Maybe even this guy did!
So haters, BUG OFF!
My Best Bullet Games!
Alright. Now, please note I said my best games, not my best wins.
Game Number One!
This game was vs @mays75. Mays is at (1018) bullet rating and I was at 945 I believe.
I was black in this game.
I won the game with a 53.7 accuracy, Mays had a 50.2 accuracy. Now, let's look at the game.
Now, what happened here? I played an ok game, they played an ok game. I won by then resigning.
Not my best win, but definitely a game to learn from.
Game Number Two!
Game number two was vs @RohaanKewalramani. I lost by checkmate.
I played as black.
My rating was (919) and @RohaanKewalramani was (901).
I had 59.0 accuracy and @RohaanKewalramani had 71.0
Let's take a look at the game.
I definitely got stressed out by the clock and wasn't paying attention. In bullet it's good to get your opponent from the start, then you will feel more confident and be able to think more clearly and faster.
Game Number Three!
Game number three was vs @calle2440. Celle's rating was 1624. My rating was 1011.
This was the highlight-rated person I beat in bullet.
Alright, let's take a look at the game.
It was a very bad win. Poor time control from both players, and very low accuracy 43.5 for calle and 39.9 for me. Definitely not my best game but not a bad one either.
Game Number Four!
This game was vs @David3781 rating at 982.
My rating was 932.
In this game I played white and lost on time, a game I should have won.
I got 44.8 accuracy and David got 35.5 not my worst bullet game, but still, not great.
Now, what happened here? I got overconfident because I was ahead in time and David did a fantastic job with his rook! Just a game I wasn't prepared for.
Game Number Five!
This game was vs FM @Bgabor91. His bullet rating is 2624, mine was 932. by the way, this was my first bullet game vs a titled player.
Now, for the accuracy bgabor got 90.7. I got 76.4.
That is very high for me.
I played as white for this game.
Now, for the game.
Now, let's talk about what happened.
Bgabor played really well, I played pretty well too. He used his queen very well and good a lot of checks which is really good in bullet, especially in the beginning. I wasn't expecting him to bring his queen out that fast.
Bonus game!
This is the second game I played vs bgabor.
This game was really bad for me.
Bgabor was still at 2624 and I was at 932.
This game was hard! Very hard!
Bgabor had an accuracy of 96.2 and I had 48.3.
Definitely not as good as the first game.
In this game, I played as black.
This game was fast. Like really really fast. Same as last game bgabor got his queen out fast and delivered several checks.
The reason it's important to make as many checks as possible is that it will run the clock down and help to stress your opponent out. It's all about playing the game, and your opponent.
The End At Last!
Wow! What a blog! I hope you all enjoyed it and found it helpful! I am looking forward to playing more and improving! Thanks to the two games I played with @bgabor91 I was able to learn quite a few tricks! Please leave a comment below and tell me how I did! I would love to know!
Thanks, everyone for reading!
See ya next time!
PS, this is one of my best wins!
