CAPEXPRESS tournament: How It Works!

This is the flagship tournament of the 23rd edition — open to everyone, but only the sharpest will stand out!

A total of 233 players took part in Monday’s Blitz Night. Only 32 qualified for the second stage: four groups of eight players, with evening tournaments held on Thursday and Friday in the Salle Molière.

The winner of each group joins the 12 invited players of CAPECHECS for the final knockout stage — a true cup format: Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the Grand Final!

GM Daniel Dardha won the first two editions, while GM Mahel Boyer brilliantly added his name to the winners’ list in 2024.
