Micheal Pyrek became inspired after two colorful candles melted on his chess board coffee table. He envisioned colorful chess boards then began experimenting with melted Crayons on scrap wood. He formed a technique and channeled his creativity; producing a bountiful collection of Oakland made encaustic chess boards.
Michael's boards are for chess enthusiast who want a more colorful playing experience or a nice piece of art to display.
